Issue to access websites from Firefox ESR

    hello,

Since my last package updates, Firefox has been replaced by Firefox ESR.
    My prob:
In Firefox ESR I cannot access some websites (most of them) (ex: google, duckduckgo,...). Few are accessible like all Kali and yahoo.
No error message: after opening a new tab, and entered the website (ex: www.google.com) I can see written in the title of the new tab "Connecting...", and then it stops and nothing happen.

    Few info:

    Gnome version 3.28

Did you try adding the https:// prefix e.g. https://www.google.com ?

Did you tried http://www.bing.com If sites other than google loads up then it is your DNS problem. Change your DNS in your wifi network.

That is very old kernel. Current is 4.14. You might want to reinstall.

I run the above version also and am having the same problem. Has anyone come up with a definite solution for this? Or is doing a full reinstall using a later version of Kali the only solution?

Edit: I bit the bullet, downloaded the latest ISO and decided to do a full rebuild. Firefox-esr appears to be working fine now - so thank you.
