Thread: Cant read installation options

    Angry Cant read installation options

So i've decided to run Kali alongside Cinammon and Windows 10, each on seperate partitions.

Cinammon installed fine and I can run Kali Live from my USB key however whenever I chose to install Kali from the menu the screen goes garbled and I cant read the installation options, I can however use the keyboard because I can make out movement within the mess.

Im assuming theres a graphics issue there somewhere but am at a loss as to how to fix it - I don't think this is a common problem - theres nothing on the forum here to indicate anybody else has had this issue...

    ... any ideas?

I recall seeing several posts about hardware issues with Nvidia-based cards. If you have an Nvidia card, definitely search the forums about that.

    many thanks.

I fixed this by creating a bootable dvd rather than the usb key and it installed perfectly.
