    Booting issue - Grub rescue

I am using Kali Linux 2018-1 and suddenly when I was turning my computer I got the grub rescue screen saying that the filesystem is unknown. I am using the encrypted disk mode and when I do ls I get 3 things in return: (hd0) (hd0,msdos1) and (hd0,msdos5). I also tried to use the set prefix and set root commands followed by insmod normal command for all the three partitions but it still says unknown filesystem. I know my data is still there in the hard disk but I cannot boot up my system. Any help would be highly appreciated.

Hey, here is a quick link that might be useful, never mind that it says Ubuntu, they(Kali, Ubuntu) are Debian
flavors and share mostly the same commands and features.

also try googling your issue, I got a good deal of info. from a basic search.
