    Kali sideloaded not accessing display

I had installed google chrome on the Windows version of Kali Linux, (to fix an issue regarding the browser variable), I had figured that installing chrome on linux would resolve the issue.
however when I attempt to run it using the following command
    Code:
    google-chrome-stable
    I get the following error
    Code:
Gtk-WARNING**: (string of numbers I assume is computer id or somthing ): Cannot open display
I have downloaded and updated the drivers to my nvidia graphics card.
How do i get the windows version of kali to recognize the display?window

try to modify the icon in the folder "applications"(usr->shared->applications), add --no-sandbox to the line that say google-chrome-stable
