How to auto login on Kali Linux 18.3 RPi Zero W ???

hi,
So I have spent a good amount of time trying to setup auto login on my Kali Linux-system running on a raspberry pi zero w trying whatever I could find on this and other forums and I could not find anything that would work so here I am asking for help..

kali-linux-2018.3-rpi0w-nexmon on a RPi Zero W.

Question:
How can i configure auto login to my raspberry pi zero w running kali linux?

[SOLUTION]
In the command line, enter:
kalipi-config

This will open up a menu, navigate:
(03) Boot Option
>>
(B1) Desktop / CLI
>>
(B2) Console Autologin

Reboot the device if it worked you should no longer require a password to login on your machine
(still requires a login when useing SSH)

Did you try to look into kali-config ? I think you can choose that in boot options.

Kali being based on debian, searching for debian in google will give you quite a few results.

Check if it's using lightgdm and if it does, this should work: https://steemit.com/software/@kskart...gin-in-lightdm (untested)

Try with the command ==> kalipi-config it's kali linux arm's raspi-config.

Hi Mister_x,
I can't find the lightdm directory and also I think I should have mentioned this earlier there is no desktop installed it boots up to a screen saying:

Kali GNU/Linux Rolling az tty1
az login:

this works perfectly with raspberry pi 3b+
