Hi all,

GNOME: 3.30.1
Kali: kali-linux-2018.4-amd64

Installed Kali on my desktop PC recently, and I'm having issues getting a Corsair M95 mouse to work. The problem is that every button on the mouse (even the scroll wheel) reports as Button 1.
I've had a look at how to configure mouse buttons on Kali but most of the threads and posts seem to be about touchpads, rather than mice. Wondering if anyone had any tips or advice on how to get this mouse to work as I'd really like to be able to even just right click (!).

both xev and the Settings > Devices > Mouse > Test your settings report the buttons as being a left-click, regardless of which button is clicked. This also happened in the graphical installer but I assumed that was just an issue with the installer so I wasn't too worried.

If anyone could help me with this it would be much appreciated! Let me know if more information is needed. I've run apt dist-upgrade and apt update/upgrade so I don't believe it's a kernel issue.
