OVA File not working

Right so I am trying to use the OVA Kali file but when I attemp to open it, I get "Unknown option C:\Users\kali\Downloads\kali-linux-2018.4-vbox-i386.ova."

I've tried uninstalling and reinstlling VM and the file multiple times aswell as 32 bit and 64 bit versions, my system is 64 bit.

Does the sha256sum on the downloaded file match the one on the website?

Make sure vbox is set to ova file when you make the virtual system
