    WN7200ND USB Wi-fi Modem Vbox Kali 2018.2 Problem

    Hi,


    My System (Host): Windows 7 Home Premium x64


    Virtual Machine: Virtual Box 6.0


    (Guest) : Kali Vbox edition x86 (2018.2)


    Dongle : Tp-Link WN7200ND USB Wi-fi Modem.


    The exact problem is: USB device is recognized but no functions. Doesnt scan/monitor wifi network even my router.


    I also found this firmware but couldnt successfully intalled:

    By the way, for anything text, you can always use pastebin instead of pictures.

    It's definitely detected and the driver is loaded, as well as the interface (you can see part of it in 6).

    So, what is the problem with it? Can't connect to wireless network or can't capture/inject?

    It is detected but when i press scan for wireless networks, it is all empty. I cannot see available networks : (

    Is that screenshot from gnome or from another tool?

    If from gnome, then I have no idea why there aren't any wireless networks detected. It doesn't make sense since you mentioned that it isn't blocked (rfkill).

    It's from my phone's camera.

    The OS is Vbox version of Kali (2018.2) I've updated and upgraded also. It's running as guest in Virtual Box.

    I am %90 sure that there is sth wrong with between Virtual Box and Kali. Just cannot figure out why/what.
