Blue Green Desktop background

Hello All,

Using Kali Linux on my raspberry pi 3 B.

The desktop background will load normally, then after 5-10-15 minutes, I get the background in the screenshot.

Is this due to the limited hardware on my PI?

Temps are around 25-34C.
