I'm trying to spin up a Kali (2019.1, 64 bit) VM with VirtualBox on my PC (Kali Version, Kali Architecture, check!). After selecting "Graphical Install", on that initial boot that kicks off the install I'm getting the following errors displayed:
(Any additional relevant logs and information as described in the Kali Troubleshooting documentation, Any visible error messages you are getting, check!)
mount: mounting /dev/sda on /media failed: Invalid argument
umount: can't umount media: Invalid argument
mount: mounting /dev/sda on /media failed: Invalid argument

The errors continue with sda1, sda2 and sda5. Live installs work fine but a non graphical install gives me the same errors. Believe it or not I'm a bit of a Linux noob but I've fired up plenty Linux VMs without issue. I even used the 2019.1 iso to spin up a Kali VM with VirtualBox on my Macbook yesterday with no problem. I've verified that the checksums of the iso I'm downloading are correct. I've tried deleting and redownloading the iso a few times as well. I've searched online but most issues I found were people trying to boot from USB. Any tips?

Thanks!
