Question about Alfa Awus036ACH

Hello ! I hesitate to buy the Alfa Awus036ACH wifi card because I'm afraid it's not compatible with monitor mode and packet injection with Kali Linux (some people say it works, others don't)
Can you confirm to me that it works or not?

I have it and it does support monitor mode but i can't capture 802.11ac data frames. Does someone know how to do this?

Might be due to beam steering, or the amount of streams. This one only supports 2 streams.

Hi, my devices are using 2 streams only too. So I doubt that is a problem.
The Apple Macs can be used to sniff 802.11ac data with no problem. Are these the only non "commercial" sniffers that support 802.11ac data frame capture?

There are other adapters that can capture 802.11ac.

Search for AWUS036ACM.

If so, would you please share me the command and arguments you use?

There shouldn't be any special command. Look into airodump-ng manual page, it explains what to do. There is also 'iw', search for HT40.

Just FYI, it's HT20/HT40 (and there is HT40+ and HT40-), and VHT80. There is no VHT40 or VHT20. HT stands for High Throughput and VHT stands for Very High Throughput
