    Gemini default boot into Kali

    Is there a way to change the default boot of the gemini pda to boot into Kali by default and use the side button to boot into Android?

    Yes. It's not a problem at all.
    You just have to swap the boot images flashed into partitions 31 and 32.
    Either:

    Open the SP flash tool, double-click on the partition row 31 and choose the "root_boot.img" from your firmware folder, then double-click on row 32 and select the "kali_boot.img", or

    Head over to

    and create a new scatter file.

    Hope that helps and please let us know how you go,

    Thanks for the info! Is there a way to change it without re-flashing the device?

    You don't have to re-flash the whole device, just those two partitions.
    It's best to make a backup of the whole device first using the SP-Flash tool,
    then go to the Download tab and untick everything;
    swap the boot images and make sure that only these two partitions are ticked before hitting the download button.

    To get it to work I also had to change the one named `boot` to point to kali_boot.img.

    Thanks for your help!

    You're right, it should have been boot, not boot3.
    Awesome pickup, thanks for sharing.
