Now that Debian has started supporting UEFI Secure Boot, It's time to roll out Secure Boot in kali linux. Grub-Shim is already available in the repository for years and other Linux distributions have been supporting Secure Boot from quite sometime. But kernel of Kali Linux is not digitally signed yet. So, you can't boot Kali Linux in Secure Boot even if you install Grub-Shim.
