    Kali Linux won't boot

Hello!, Here recently I've been unsuccessful in attempting to get Kali to boot inside of virtual box.

I've attempted to use the provided .ova file located here and booting my own VM using the iso file.

After installing and starting up the previously mentioned ova file I receive the following:

    Capture2.jpg

After selecting that option I receive this error:

    Capture.jpg

All of my other VM's work fine (ubuntu, fedora, arch, win7, winXP ect...)

    Any help is much appreciated

    Thanks!,

    Nibbs

So, you're saying the provided VM doesn't work?

And by the way, the first screenshot is obvious, but the second one is too small to even read what's on it.

When creating select linux then for distro select other at very bottom of list. Since kali has a custom kernal might be preventing it to boot.

Selecting latest Debian 64bit is fine. I'm actually not even sure if the distro really matter (32/64 bit most likely does)
