Wireless USB Adapter

Grad Student here and running Linux Mint 19.1 Cinnamon, Oracle VM VirtualBox, a Kali VM and need a Wireless USB Adapter. Do all I need to worry about is finding an adapter that supports Kali and not mint? I will need monitor mode and injection support. The adapter will be used for work in Kali only. Figured someone on here would know. Thanks.

Just FYI, USB passthrough driver of VB is buggy, you're better off installing VMware workstation player, or running live.
