    Kali Linux won't detect/display battery

I just got a fresh installment of Kali Linux, but now it won't detect my battery at all. I tried cat apci bat0 and bat1 and it shows that it does not exist. I do not know what my battery percentage is.

does "dmesg | grep -i acpi" gives anything?

I'm guessing it is not yet supported by the kernel: https://github.com/jakeday/linux-surface/issues/28
