Upgrade problem

I successfully installed and upgrade my kali linux....after i loggedin it show old icons,and doesn't have a audio output and windows doesn't have minimise and maximize icons and python3 utils error so much .....
How i solve that

Wow yours did you worse than mine I fought that thing for six hours. Backup everything download the new Kali and reinstall, I think there is a problem with upgrading the only way I could fix everything was to download and install. There was just to much to keep trying, it was faster and less stressful to just do as I said.
