How can I Write-Out file in nano on NetHunter?

Hi, I have a Nexus 5X with Nethunter. I'm trying to edit a .conf file. I tried nano because it's the easiest to use. The edit command isn't working. My questions is, how do I write-out a file in nano on Nethunter? The ctrl button is too small so I can't use "ctrl o" or "ctrl x". Is there another way to write the file? What about other text editors? The ctrl button is too small. I can't save the file and exit. Please reply. Thanks

Good question. This might look weird, probably because it is ;-), but it seems to work consistently when "Ctrl + x" doesn't cut it:

Esc, Esc, Ctrl, x

Pressing "Esc" twice before doing the standard Ctrl + x does the trick on my OP7.
If it doesn't work, try "vi". I've been using it exclusively and never had any problems.

I'm back. Hitting Esc twice writes my file and ctrl x exits nano. Thanks for the help!!
