How to remove the 2019.4 boot animation?

I think that dragon is too high-profile, wanna remove it. I've tried to unload the 2019.4 build-in grub theme via modify "/boot/grub/grub.cfg" by commenting out
    Code:
    #loadfont ($root)/boot/grub/themes/kali/unifont-regular-16.pf2
    #insmod png
    #set theme=($root)/boot/grub/themes/kali/theme.txt
    #export theme
but the dragon still there. How can I remove the dragon boot animation?
    Thanks.

Now I know that the boot animation has nothing to do with the grub theme. But I still don't know how to change or remove the dragon boot animation.

I think it's related with "plymouth" theme, not grub.

I simply run "plymouth-set-default-theme detail" command

to change theme from default "kali" to "detail" .

It removed dragon splash when I'm running GNOME version, but sadly it didn't work for Xfce version.

I'm having the same issue but I'm running the xfce desktop on Kali 2020.3. Is there a solution for this version?
