Hello, I have kali linux setup using nat connection. My question is i i cant seem to scan my network with nmap im assuming because kali is using its own network. Do i need to use brigged connection instead? or host only? I have looked online at the differences but im still a little confused. I tried brigged connection in the network settings tab of virtual box and now i can scan my network and see devices attached with namp but is it safe to run my virtual machine attacted to the network with a brigged connection? or is there a way to still be able to use nat? thanks
