Login problem

Cannot login via login screen with root and password only through terminal on login screen by F2 , When installing kali I created own name for root, but it does not log in, I was logged in many times and suddenly does not log in only in terminal on login screen.

Did you upgrade you version of kali lately? The kali 2020.1 version was going to implement non-root default user and as a result you cannot log in as root anymore. Instead you have to use the sudo command like in Ubuntu in order ot do anything that requires escalated privileges. You can make life a little easier for yourself and add the default user account to the trusted group and then be allowed to use passwordless privlege escalation... just an idea... right now I am tring to get any information I can on being able to log in as root myself, I am currently running Kali Linux 2020.1b so if you hear anything please let me know..
