I have been using this Kali Linux for years now. It was working all fine but all of a sudden I am unable to Login via root. I tried to run the recovery mode and in the recovery mode my root credentials are accepted but when I am trying to provide the same credentials via Kali GUI, It prompts invalid login credentials. Through recovery mode, I extracted logs which shows this error: Jan 3 18:56:14 kali gdm-password]: pam_succeed_if(gdm-password:auth): requirement "user != root" not met by user "root"
Kindly assist in tackling this issue
