    Wireless stopped working after update

    Hello,

I have tried multiple fixes that did not work for me. I updated Kali and after a reboot the wireless stopped working. When clicking the Wifi icon, under the Wifi Networks will switch between device not managed and device not ready and no available networks appear. I have installed the compat wireless 3.6 reinstalled the wireless adapter for 9000-46, restarted the Network Manager, changed the NetworkManager.conf, and grub. After each fix a new error would appear in dmesg. I have included the current dmesg error I am receiving. Please let me know anything that can help or additional details are needed.

Myself, and others based on the forums lately, seem to be having firmware/driver issues with USB and built-in wireless. Some people have stated downgrading their drivers from the ones Kali ships with now have worked them. I haven't had any luck with it personally but it seems to be Intel and RT based wireless firmware that's messed up.

Irritated with this why this happening to only my laptop ( MSI ) but in my friend laptop it's working for( DELL )

    Just i downloaded kali 2019.4
    After that
    Sudo apt-get update
    Sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

    I did again it's gone .
No stable versions for msi and other laptops
I checked firmware drivers but same issue
And update-initramfs *** really i lost 20days might moderator will consider my concern.

    Anyone please reply to this

How to restore the pc to before upgrade and uninstall all pkgs installed newly.

    Messed up with kali 2020.1
Why they won't release a stable for all pc
