Kindly revert back to Live USB with in-built offline installer as there are multiple issues with in-built netinstall and it won't work for many with one serious issue of stuck during installation (Select and Install Software) after a while. Even using fast Internet. Also, over 80% Kali users all over the world (majority from India) now can't install Kali on their system due to poor Internet service and patchy and unreliable downloading package manager.

Con: To my knowledge 2020.1 is worst ever release in the history of Kali Linux. What are you trying for? To turn away over 80% Kali users to abandon the use of Kali or what? Also, creating default user is not gone well with Kali users. Really, who is behind these quirky decisions?
