Okay, so I have Kali installed on a Virtualbox VM, and have a TP-Link TLWN722N WiFi Adapter. Now, o can get it to function correctly as an AP, all fine. The one problem I am having is this ****** monitor mode. I know it supports it, I've checked, and I can set it to monitor mode manually using iw and if, however, airmon doesn't work to set it (airodump works fine after its set), and programs like Ghost Phisher for example recognise the card, but say it isnt in monitor mode, despite setting it using iw, and running airodump. What is going on, and how can I fix this?
TL;DR, I can set my wifi card to monitor mode using iw but not airmon, and programs like Ghost Phiser dont recognise the monitor mode at all
