Hi all,
I tried installing kali (v2020.1b) with a live usb on a macbook pro (2019). However the installer always freezes at the second step (language selection). Meaning my mouse cursor is frozen, and my keyboard doesn?t do anything, so I can?t go any further in the installation process.
I tried to burn the iso several times with different methods, i verified the burn was good so this doesn?t seem to be the issue.
I looked for answers for this specific problem but I can?t seem to find any. Posts with the same issue :

I also tried to install Debian 11 just before (same macbook) and I had the exact same problem with the debian installer, which should be partly the same as kali is based of Debian.
Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated.
