Kali Linux VirtualBox install

Hi,

I'm having problems on the last stage of the install - lots of alerts from AVG due to mimikatz? Am I safe to turn off AVG to do this final stage or do I actually have a problem with the ISO file for Kali Linux? I've downloaded it from https://www.kali.org/downloads/ (64 bit version).

Really hoping someone can help! I'm a newbie as far as this goes - have just started at an online cyberschool due to the Covid.

Hi Jenny,

I have used Kali with AVG on Windows with a Kali VirtualBox installation. The magic will be in creating exceptions within AVG. There should be an area in your AVG that allows you to enter exceptions. You can make a directory path an exception, etc.
