Hello everyone

I've been working on a dual-boot installation of Kali Linux 2020 and Windows 10. The installer completes without errors. (only missing network firmware).

When I'm in GRUB and boot Kali, my laptop shuts down. I tried with the rescue mode on verbose, but the logs came too fast to read. The only thing I saw was that systemctl executes a poweroff.

I chrooted into my root filesystem for /var/log/boot.log. It has one failed: failed deactivating swap. I think this error came after the poweroff had already started.

I don't know how I can properly boot Kali. One time, after adding panic=10 in the rescue mode kernel params, Kali booted without problems, but that was a one time luck.

I reinstalled it but nothing changed.

I use a HP Envy 13 laptop with Secure boot disabled.

Can someone help me out with this?

Thanks in advance
