What I have:
Intel based laptop with Intel 8260 wireless card
Installed 2019.3 when it came out and it worked fine.
The apt full-upgrade last week broke the wireless card driver somehow.
What I tried:
Reinstalled 2019.3 which worked fine until the upgrade
Reinstalled again and put firmware-iwlwifi on hold which did not help
Installed 2020.1b which activated the wireless card successfully and began to install updates and leaves the wireless card broken.
