Hi,
I'm a newbie into linux world and my setup is :

host: windows laptop with intel ethernet interface and intel wifi dual-band 7260 interface

latest version of kali linux on Vmware workstation player on my windows host

Issue: laptop is connected on wired ethernet and I can see eth0 on kali linux as "wired connection". unable to get wlan0 interface active/working on kali VM. I want to use the built-in wifi adapter of my windows laptop on kali linux VM. I don't mind not being able to use wifi-adapter on host laptop when kali VM is running. I just want the built-in wifi adapter working on kali linux VM... is it possible?

I've spent a day trying different things from google and youtube videos, but nothing works. please help.

***root@kali:~# uname -srm
Linux 5.4.0-kali3-686-pae i686
