Hello Kali forum,

This is my first post in the community to ask for help regarding troubleshooting my DW1560 (BCM94352Z), I'm currently targeting my XPS 15-

--- Spec Sheet ---
Dell XPS 15 9570 (4k)
i7 8750H / 16GB RAM / SK Hynix 512GB
DW 1560 (BCM94352Z)(PCI ID 14e4:43b1)
--- End Spec Sheet ---

Anecdotal: I currently have a near-perfect system running a tri-boot setup of Mojave, Windows 10, and Kali, and finding support for the DW1560 under Kali would perfect the system.

The DW1560 under Kali 2020.1b appears to be properly driven with both bands either through broadcom-sta-dkms, broadcom-wl, or b43, except for the inability to send deauthentication packets or change the channel of the prism0 interface from -1.

I've tried to research the issue myself but I can't find anything pointing to a clear solution, here are a couple of the more relevant links I've read through:

https://forums.kali.org/archive/index.php/t-21629.html
https://github.com/aircrack-ng/aircr...x-2.6.20.patch *

*I'm not familiar enough with Linux to know how to implement kernel patches, but that particular patch seems to be legacy anyway.

I was wondering if anyone in the community could offer any help with pointing me in the right direction if there's a specific patch or firmware that I'm failing to find, or if somebody anybody has a way to force prism0's channel to change from -1. Interestingly enough, airodump-ng on prism0 dumps data from both bands and I can see the channel changing , but ifconfig/iwconfig frowns upon me attempting to manually change the channel myself. Could this possibly be because they've been deprecated and there's another way of doing this? I've been using Kali for a couple years and I'm still relatively new to all of it's features, patience and any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance
