I run Kali in Virtualbox on windows 10. when I type ifconfig in my Kali the inet IP i get isn't correct? the ip i get is different from the ipconfig default gateway IP i get when I type it in windows 10 CMD. This is important distinction because when I tried to run a port scan inside of kali using the Kali ifconfig IP nothing shows up. but when I scan the windows provided IP, it works.
Not sure what's going on? I know it must have something to do with Kali in virtualbox?
