Visual artifacts on Radeon

Hello, everyone. Faces an issue with visual artifacts after installing kali linux on a new laptop.

CPU - Amd Ryzen 3 3200U
Integrated GPU - Radeon RX vega 3

not sure if it helps, but try to change the refresh rate and mode then back. It helped me when i was having similar issues with ryzen 7 4800hs.

what i did was. (as my monitor is registered as eDP and can go up to 144hz) so i did this

xrandr --output eDP --mode 1920x1080 --rate 60
xrandr --output eDP --mode 1920x1080 --rate 144

to know the output just type

xrandr

you will see which output and mode and rate it can support. then try accordingly.

Got the same error with Ryzen 7 2700U
Integrated GPU: Radeon RX Vega 10

xfconf-query -c xfwm4 -p /general/vblank_mode -t string -s "xpresent" --create

Entering in the terminal and then restarting has solved the problem for me.
