Hello, yesterday I installed Kali Linux 2020.1b on VMware 12 Player.
Everything was running fine, until today when after I powered up Kali and hit full screen, the bar at the top of the screen disappeared.
After booting the desktop shortcuts are hidden and the top bar is shown normally. Whenever I try resizing (by dragging the borders) or going into full screen, the top bar disappears and the shortcuts appear. Along with the top bar, any window I have opened using it also disappears.
I must note that during the shutdown process, the top bar along with the windows show up momentarily.
