Hi All
Been using Kali for many years and have performed dist-upgrade many times taking backups before hand but all being fine anyway. Just to let everyone know that I performed a dist-upgrade this weekend and after rebooting found that all of the files under my home directory had been deleted. Unfortunately, I did not take a very recent backup and have therefore lost data. Please learn from my mistake.
