When I connect my vpn in Kali Linux and try to open a web page I get a server not found error. I have followed along with every tutorial I can find and nothing works. I have downloaded a vpn from vpnbook, unzipped it, did apt-get on all the necessary packages and I have been trying to do openvpn --config "vpnname.ovpn" which then asks for a user name and password which I get from vpnbook's website. It runs through and says initialization sequence complete but when I open google and try to see if my IP has changed, I get a server not found error. I have downloaded multiple different vpns from vpnbook and occasionally one will allow the webpage to load fully but my IP is the exact same. I've tried looking everywhere online and nothing seems to work. I am very new to using Kali Linux so thank you for your help.
