Newbie Linux/Kali user here and I just created a new VM with the latest Kali 2020.2 with VMWare Fusion on my Macbook Pro. After unmounting the ISO image and disconnecting the virtual DVD drive, Kali takes a long time to boot. The boot loader menu shows up (Grub?) and correctly lists the virtual SCSI hard drive as the primary boot device but it sits there for a solid minute before it finally boots. Is there any way to speed this process up?
