Hi guys at offensive security and community members,

Ever since the 2020 update where the default root user was removed and we had to create a non root account I have seen a lot of mixed responses both good and bad regarding it.

I was wondering if it is possible to have the option implemented in the installer to have a root account or a non root account, giving the user a bit more freedom when installing the OS,

I was thinking it could look like this in the installer,

[User account setup]
Non root user (recommended for new Linux users)
root user: (warning using the root account may harm your system)

After the user has confirmed the account type they would like they can proceed to creating a password for the chosen account.

Thank you for taking time to read this,

Many thanks
