Hiya, my apologies if this has been asked and I missed it in forums.... So fairly newbie, anyway using the kali app on windows, have install using wsl version 2 and have windows 10 pro version 2004 build 19041.388. Anyway having a problem adding keys to keyserver/chain when wanting to install additional packages etc.. When I tried to add key that involves apt-key it gives this error:
E: gnupg, gnupg2 and gnupg1 do not seem to be installed, but one of them is required for this operation
This seems weird that this isn't working from a fresh install? I also have the complete kali package installed.
so tried to install either of them, ended up installing gpgv package and adding a symbolic link to /usr/bin for gnupg2 to gpgv. So i can run gnupg2 from command, and that works. How or why does apt-key not see this?, do i have to add it somewhere else?
