Add Application to Kali

I am new to Linux am so tired of the Windows control, I am wanting to move to Linux. I also want to learn Ethical Hacking.
What I want is to learn Kali and Linux both. I made my whole HDD a Kali Drive, But I want to install all the other Linux apps like Libre Office, CD Burner, The things you get standard with like Debian Linux. In other Linux Distros there is a install program.
How do install other Linux applications to Kali

sudo apt update
sudo apt install libreoffice k3b gimp audacity

Don't forget to run sudo apt update && sudo apt dist-upgrade -y each week or so. Also be sure to clean up via : sudo apt autoremove -y
