USB ALFA AWUS036NEH *RT3070 chipset
The Wlan is detected after a few days of fooling with that.
Running airmon-ng check kill (with and without)
Wireless goes into monitor mode, confirmed with iwconfig (Wlan0mon)
Run airodump-ng Wlan0mon ... and crickets
I ran through dmsg to see anthing of interest. I noted the driver is RT2800USB which seemed to be OK to me based on others . I see there is a firmware reference in dmsg that is linked to this driver. Mine is RT2870.bin
I just cant figure out why everything looks fine, card works great on host machine, etc. and it will not grab packet info. If I overlooked something and shouldn't have posted , sorry. I really have searched a long time on this.
