So I been banging my head against the wall today.
I reinstalled 2020.2.
Wireless worked in setup but once I logged into the system normally, wifi would get disconnected right away. Tried so many fixes list here and other sites. Decided to reinstall one last time but this time did not do the large extra tools options. Finally wifi no longer disconnects.
I wifi card is RT3592.
All I can think of is one of those extra tools screws up the wifi.
I do know when I was having this wifi issue and tried ifconfig wlan0 down and ifconfig wlan0 up, I would get SIOCSIFFLAGS input/output error.
The other issue I have is when I dont connect to wifi during setup, the date/time gets messed up after every reboot.
ntpd -qg
Works to set right time until i reboot
Suggestions for fixing these issues welcomed but i mainly made this post to help others that might run into these issues
