Hi Guys,
So I setup kali linux in windows using WSL 2. And installed win-kex to get a GUI environment. But starting win-kex gives a GUI environment with default resolution set to 1280x720. And if I change the resolution to 1920x1080 in display settings of xfce my screen becomes so big that it goes past the vertical and horizontal edges of my monitor. As in I have to drag my mouse to the edges to auto scroll the screen.
So I tried to set the geometry to 1920x1080 in the vncserver command in "/usr/bin/kex" and also tried setup the DesktopSize and geometry to 1920x1080 for the win-kex executable in "/usr/lib/win-kex". But to no avail, still the screen goes beyond the edges of my monitor.
I also used xrandr methods mentioned here: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/...ssion-in-linux
Also tried this specifically: https://stackoverflow.com/a/38630417
Still couldn't get my 1080p screen to remain inside my monitors edges. Please help and advise, as to how to set the resolution to 1080pAttachment 4208Attachment 4209.
Regards,
Sekhar
