Can't change Terminal font and size in new update

I am not able to change font type and size in my kali default terminal. I tried to change through preferences.
Please help

The are soo may terminal emulator available for Linux, please try them out and set them according to your specifications. To name few, "gnome-terminal","konsole","Alacaritty","urxvt", "st" etc..

the terminal in use doesnt seem to accept font changes and its qtterminal not xfce-terminal. install and use the latter to workaround

Same problem here, this seems to be a bug in the terminal.

Didn't work for me too in the pre-installed qterminal.
Kali Linux 2020.3 Virtualbox.

You can manually edit the terminal config file to set a fontFamily=FireCoda (no space) and then you will be able to use the Preferences again. Another thread goes into more detail about editing the config file: https://forums.kali.org/showthread.p...ill-not-change

Based on the bug report, it doesn't look like the fix will arrive until 2020.4 version.
