Fresh Install Kali - No Sound & No Wifi

Hi Guys,

I recently installed Kali and there is no sound output. I can play the audio file but there is no sound. Also, I am using a USB wifi receiver which detects the nearby Wifi signals but cannot connect to them (although I have the password). Can you guys please help?
