Seamless mode seems to be not working in my Win-Kex 2.0

Hi all,
I recently updated a WSL2 Kali installation to get the new Win-Kex 2.0.
I used sudo apt upgrade && sudo apt install -y kali-win-kex and everything seemed to work fine.
Now, in windows mode I can log-in without any issue as before, while in seamless mode I can't.
Sometimes (normally at the beginning) I get:
Checking /home/<name>/.cache/sessions/xfce4-session-<IP>:0 Enabling SL mode
Waited 100 seconds for desktop, giving up
Saving Win-KeX SL session
Started Win-KeX SL
I tried also with option -w but without success.

Sometimes, e.g. if I first login in windows mode and then exit the viewer, trying to connect again with --sl I get:
Checking /home/<name>/.cache/sessions/xfce4-session-<IP>:0
Enabling SL mode
Desktop started after 1 seconds, enabling transparency now
Unable to init server: Could not connect: Connection refused
Failed to parse arguments: Cannot open display

The /tmp/win-kexsl-log reports:
Cannot move old log file "/tmp/win-kexsl.log" to "/tmp/win-kexsl.log.old"
_XSERVTransSocketCreateListener: failed to bind listener
_XSERVTransSocketINETCreateListener: ...SocketCreateListener() failed

I am having the exact same issue as you. I understand this post is almost half a year old, but did you ever find a fix? Here is a screenshot of my console output. I can run windowed fine, but seamless is not working. Please get back to me if you find a way to fix this. Thanks.

I'm having a very simillar issue to this, on Windows 11/WSL2/Kali where VcXsrv errors out with an issue failed to activate virtual core keyboard: 2 and the log reports as follows:
