Hi,
I am new to Kali and am trying to add a new user account with admin privileges.
I'm pretty sure that I did this incorrectly since when i cmd "whoami" I get root.

This is what I get now when logging in.
root@kali:/home/Blue2#

This is okay for now; however, does this replace the original root account or just adds a second root account?

And yes, I am aware of the dangers of using root. At this point, I'm only interested in adding the account. Plus, if I can survive addiction, a suicide attempt and climb out of a bottomless abyss of depression and personality disorders , I'm positive I can handle being responsible with Kali root privileges. I'm learning cybersecurity as my second chance in life to do some good and help the "everyday person" from being exploited.

Thanks for any help.
