Does anybody know how to fix the Xfce desktop?
I'm experiencing severe problems after installing Kali.
What happens is that first time I log in into the XFCE desktop, it behaves normally.
If I log out, use another desktop or reboot the computer XFCE will crash rendering the computer unusable and I have to reboot it.
The computer locks itself with a white screen with nothing else than the mouse pointer. Can move the mouse around but there are
no menus, no icons - nothing.
I have narrowed the problem down. If i delete the xfce4 folder under ~/home/[user]/.config after the crash. I can reboot the computer and enter xfce again as normally but have to set up
the desktop again after my wishes.
Are there any other experiencing this problem and have found a fix for it?
