hello, In 2019 i had bought a external wifi adapter prolink pan2001 which uses the ralink rt3070 chipset and it was working fine in 2019.2 edition but last week i had installed kali 2020.1 in vmware player 16 and i tried connecting it with kali and it shows as wlan0 but is not able to detect any networks even the network manager which is there in the gui does not show any wifi networks. This adapter however was tested on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS on vmware player 16 and was working aboslutely fine, connecting to networks , monitor mode, packet injection everything was flawless.But in kali nothing is working.
Can anybody please help me to figure out what is wrong and how to solve this problem?
