Hi,
I just did a fresh install of 2020.4. During install, I selected 'lightdm'. After login in, with either XFCE or KDE as a desktop, there is no bottom taskbar or any desktop icons.
I searched the 'net but could not find anything that talks about this issue.
I even switched to 'sddm' thinking that would fix it.
Is this a new default for Kali to not have a taskbar?
